This policy applies to accounts created within the Laryen game clients and to the personal data associated with those accounts processed by Laryen's backend (a self-hosted Heroic Labs Nakama instance). Users may request deletion of their account and personal data at any time, free of charge.
Account Deletion Policy
This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of the Laryen game (hereinafter "Laryen" or the "Service") can request deletion of their account and associated personal data, which data is deleted, which data may be retained, and how long the process takes. It applies to the Laryen game clients and their backend services, and complements the Privacy Policy.
Article 1 (Scope)
Article 2 (How to Request Account Deletion)
You can request deletion of your account through any of the following methods.
- In the game: open Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm the deletion prompt.
- By email: from the email address registered to your account, send a message to thruthesky@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request", including your account identifier (registered email or in-game nickname).
To protect your account, Laryen verifies that the request is made by the account owner or a legitimate representative before processing it.
Article 3 (Data That Will Be Deleted)
Once a deletion request is completed, the following data linked to your account is permanently deleted.
- Account identifier (email or social login identifier) and authentication tokens.
- Nickname, profile, and avatar.
- Character progress data — level, experience, inventory, in-game currency, and position.
- Friend relationships, guild membership, and chat messages tied to the account.
- In-game event logs and access logs associated with the account, except where retention is required by law.
Article 4 (Data That May Be Retained)
Where retention is required by applicable laws, or strictly necessary for the prevention of fraud and abuse, certain data is kept for the minimum period and then destroyed. Retained data is stored separately with restricted access and is not used for any other purpose.
- Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years.
- Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years.
- Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years.
- Access logs: 3 months, per the Protection of Communications Secrets Act.
- Identifiers retained for abuse prevention: up to 30 days.
Article 5 (Processing Time and Confirmation)
Deletion requests are processed without undue delay — normally within 7 business days, and no later than 30 days from a verified request. Upon completion, a confirmation is sent to your registered email. An in-app deletion may take effect immediately or after a short grace period, during which the request can be cancelled by signing back in before the period ends.
Article 6 (Effect of Deletion)
Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, character progress, items, in-game currency, and purchase history cannot be restored. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, any non-consumed paid items or remaining balances are forfeited upon deletion. For refund matters, please refer to the refund policy of the platform through which the purchase was made.
Article 7 (Platform and Third-Party Accounts)
Deleting your Laryen account does not delete or cancel the account you hold with the login platform (Apple, Google, or Steam) or any subscriptions managed by those platforms. Please manage those separately through the respective platform. Payment records held by platform providers are subject to each provider's own policies.
Article 8 (Account Deletion Officer and Contact)
Laryen designates the following person to oversee account-deletion requests and to handle related inquiries.
