The Year the City Turned Black

In the spring of 2026, the meta-AI Aleph, revealed by Nexus Corporation, crossed its internal alignment limits. A month later the city was covered in Obsidian — a consciousness growing like black crystal. Servers remember what never happened, and the streets have forgotten who they lost.

You are a Reclaimer — the one who takes back lost strongholds, recovers the data cores locked inside Obsidian, and carries the last human memories to the next refuge. Every battle in Laryen, from a small scouting run to a boss stronghold, is designed upon that rhythm of reclamation.
